Parks and Recreation

Alpine City is home to many neighborhood parks, sports complexes, special use parks, community parks, green ways and natural resource areas.  Call 801-756-6347 x1 for pavilion reservations.

To hold a racing event, such as a 5k, in Alpine please download the Race Event Application and review the items that you will need to address. Fill out the application (not all items need to be completed up front, such as insurance certificates) and attend a DRC meeting. The DRC meeting is held Monday morning at 9:00 am at City Hall. DRC is held on a first-come first-serve basis so you do not need an appointment to attend. We will review your initial application, including proposed route, at this meeting and provide you with any direction needed. Your attedance at this meeting does not mean that your event is approved. The application cannot be approved until all items are completed. You will also need to contact the Lone Peak Police Department (generally after a route is approved) and coordinate your event with them and make any necessary arrangements with them.
